Globalia collaborates with Bricsa consulting for the 3rd Annual Saudi Freight & Logistics 2018

The Conference will give the major sector related companies a platform to discuss the latest projects in the region

Globalia Logistics Network has established a partnership with the 3rd Annual Saudi Freight & Logistics 2018, which will be which will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on 22nd & 23rd October.

The aim of the Conference is to build strong relationships among the companies involved in logistics, supply chain management, third & fourth party logistics, warehousing, ICT, freight transportation, railway equipment manufacturers, and legal advisories. The 3rd Annual Saudi Freight & Logistics provides the major firms of the sector a platform to discuss the latest projects in the region which can be explored.

Saudi Arabia has become a very strategic area for logistics market and together with Dubai it is the most attractive target for logistics investment. The Arabian Gulf region is estimated to be worth $15.5 trillion by 2024. Additionally, Vision 2030’s plan foresees a reduction of the dependence on oil in Saudi Arabia, which could imply an increase in the world’s investment stage related to the transport and logistics sector.

Three airfreight shipments from China to Egypt which weighed more than 7000 kg each handled by Globalia Cairo

The shipments consisted of SIM cards for the new Egyptian mobile company- ‘WE’ 

In the months of May and June, Dispatch Global Logistics, the Globalia member in Cairo, Egypt, handled over 21,000 Kg shipments of mobile SIM cards which were transported from Guangzhou, China to Cairo, Egypt. The airfreight shipments were safely delivered to the consignee’s locations by trucks. Three to four trucks were used to transport each of the shipments.

As declared by Nermeen Said, Overseas Manager of Dispatch Global Logistics: “We have successfully handled these 3 shipments under DDP terms. Our experience and expertise in providing the best consultancy for our clients is one important factor which helped us secure this project.” She further added that: “It is indeed an honour to have associated ourselves with this governmental project of the new mobile company.”

Dispatch Global Logistics, which caters to the logistical needs of all kinds of businesses, has also celebrated its 8th Anniversary on the 1st of July.

Globalia Doha successfully handles two bulk DG shipments from ports in India and Oman to Qatar

The dangerous goods shipments consisted of paint and related chemicals

Western Gulf Agency has recently handled two bulk DG shipments last week, which were transported from the Ngava Sheva Port, India and Sohar Port, Oman to Hamad Port in Qatar. After unloading the shipments with a forklift at the Hamad Port, they were moved to the consignee site by trailers.

In the words of Ahmad Al Hashimi, CEO of Western Gulf Agency, “Moving this bulk shipment of paint and chemicals had been a challenging task which was perfectly handled without the slightest hitch. I would like to thank all my team members for their consistent effort which allowed us to move the shipments professionally.”

Globalia Tema/Accra receives the Outstanding Haulage Company of the Year Award

The 2018 Awards promoted and celebrated the outstanding achievements of organizations and individuals in the West African business region

BAJ Freight and Logistics Limited were awarded the Outstanding Haulage Company of the Year Award due to the effective and specialized services they offered to the neighbouring West African countries like Niger, Mali, Togo, Cote D’voire, Burkina faso, Nigeria and many more.
