Super Cargo Service Co Ltd, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, celebrated The International Women’s Day on the 8th of March by organizing a small party in their office. On this day all the male members of their team prepared a sumptuous lunch, decorated the office with flowers and bought gifts for all the female colleagues. Once the celebrations were over, the men took care of cleaning the office as well.
Globalia Ho Chi Minh believes in creating a work ambience based on gender equality, respect, friendliness, wholeheartedness and excellence. “Everybody is loved and respected in our team which is more like a family. Not only on this day but also on the rest of the year, our female colleagues are treated with the same warmth and respect. On the International Women’s Day, we took the opportunity to have a little merrymaking when the male members took the lead and the female colleagues just sat back and enjoyed,” says Ms. Lily, the Agency Coordinator of Super Cargo.

This is their 13th charter flight with a cargo of PPE to curb the pandemic in the USA
Super Cargo Service, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, has moved yet another shipment of PPEs by a charter flight of Philippine Airline. With over 12 years of experience in the industry, Super Cargo Services has been sending out air charters with cargoes of PPE made in Vietnam since the very start of the pandemic. They made use of a Boeing 777-300 ER airplane to transfer this shipment.
In the words of Mr. Peter Nguyen, the CEO of Super Cargo Service, “We are delighted to bring you the news of our 13th shipment of PPEs which had a volume of 250 CMB and weighed 50 tons. By now you can consider us a veritable expert in the field of air charter services and we intend to continue with the good job of transferring life-saving equipment to the United States. I would like to thank all my teammates for their hard work and commitment which is responsible for the success of all our projects!”

They have been moving cargoes of PPE’s to the USA for several months and to this end, they once again made use of a charter flight
Super Cargo Service, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, once again sends out a shipment of personal protection equipment from Vietnam to the United States. Prior to this shipment, they moved PPEs from Vietnam to New York in 11 charter flights. The last shipment was being moved via a Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft.
The flight was loaded with 250 CBM of PPEs which had a weight of 50 tons. “We had taken the lead in pandemic logistics ever since the lockdown started and recently we sent out our 12th charter flight to the USA. All of this would never have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and expertise of my teammates who have been impeccably handling every aspect of the shipments since day one,” says Mr. Peter Nguyen, the CEO of Super Cargo Service.

To this end, they coordinated with four airlines, chartered eight flights and completed a record-breaking workload within two weeks – from 5th to 18th May 2020
Super Cargo Service Co, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, successfully arranged for 8 chartered flights from Ho Chi Minh to JFK Airport, USA, for shipping more than 5 million health protection products including protective clothing, masks, and gloves. “The urgent nature of this shipment prompted our team to coordinate at once with 4 airlines- Ethiopia Airlines, Cathay Pacific, Eva Airlines, and Philippines Airlines. I’d request our partners to take a look at the YouTube video we have put together regarding this important and time-critical cargo.” says Mr. Peter Nguyen, the Chief Executive Officer of Super Cargo Service.
This consignment which was a large order from the Government of New York reached its destination within just two weeks. The tact and competence of the Super Cargo team are what allowed them to complete this record-breaking workload in the middle of these difficult circumstances imposed by the pandemic. Mr. Nguyen further states, “This is the first time that 8 large aircraft (Boeing 777-300 ER and Boeing 777- 360 ER) from 4 international airlines simultaneously landed at Tan Son Nhat airport to transport medical equipment from Ho Chi Minh to the US. The international crisis calls for ground-breaking solutions like this. A big shoutout to our team for proficiently undertaking this challenging task within just 2 weeks!”

The shipment which consisted of 7,995 pieces had a volume of 5,421.510 MTS
Super Cargo Service, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, successfully sends out a bulk consignment of steel billets from Lotus Port, Vietnam, to Batangas, Philippines. Globalia Ho Chi Minh moved this 5,421.510 MTS cargo via a Dong BA sea vessel. The freight was loaded with the help of prime mover trucks and shore-cranes.
Ms. Lily Lieu, the Agency Supervisor of Super Cargo Service points out that, “Our team had to work extra-time to load nearly 8,000 pieces of steel billets within just 2 days and the SCS team executed the job quickly and impeccably! Moreover, working in the times of COVID-19 was a serious challenge yet we ensured that the vessel reaches the consignee by 2nd April 2020.” The Super Cargo team was responsible for all aspects of the delivery including stevedoring and chartering while they also acted as the shipping agent. “I would request our partners to check out this video we’ve put together to get an idea about the nature and scope of this project.” adds Ms. Lieu.

They were in full charge of shipping 1,045 tons of structural steel for building the FIFA World Cup Stadium in Qatar
Super Cargo Service VN, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, has successfully shipped a big project shipment of structural steel required for building the FIFA World Cup 2022 Stadium from Vietnam to Qatar. The 12,991 CBM shipment which weighed 1,045 tons were transported in 161 packages from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to Hamad, Qatar. According to Ms. Lily Lieu, the Agency Supervisor of Super Cargo Service, “We are delighted to be associated with such an important project! The entire world is looking forward to this grand event which comes just once every four years and we are glad to do our part in the building of the World Cup Stadium! Actually, we have recorded a video that shows the important work of Super Cargo Services and we invite all Globalia members to have a look.”
The Super Cargo team was responsible for a number of services including chartering and stevedoring and thanks to their coordinated efforts the entire shipment was sent out on 23rd March 2020, a time marked by intense confusion because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “The disruption of logistical services and the cancellation of so many flights in our country were indeed pressing issues but our dedicated and proficient team has ensured that nothing comes in the way of getting this important cargo to its destination!” adds Ms. Lieu.
