Globalia Ho Chi Minh sends out their 12th air charter with shipment of PPEs from Vietnam to the USA

They have been moving cargoes of PPE’s to the USA for several months and to this end, they once again made use of a charter flight

Super Cargo Service, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, once again sends out a shipment of personal protection equipment from Vietnam to the United States. Prior to this shipment, they moved PPEs from Vietnam to New York in 11 charter flights. The last shipment was being moved via a Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft.

The flight was loaded with 250 CBM of PPEs which had a weight of 50 tons. “We had taken the lead in pandemic logistics ever since the lockdown started and recently we sent out our 12th charter flight to the USA. All of this would never have been possible without the hard work, dedication, and expertise of my teammates who have been impeccably handling every aspect of the shipments since day one,” says Mr. Peter Nguyen, the CEO of Super Cargo Service.

Globalia Ho Chi Minh charters two flights with PPE from Vietnam to the USA

The 10th and 11th charter flights handled by Super Cargo Vietnam demonstrates their pioneering role in carrying out the pandemic logistics

Super Cargo Service, a Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, chartered their 9th flight to move a shipment of personal protection equipment from Ho Chi Minh to New York. The Boeing 777 was loaded with 50 tons of cargo which had a volume of 250 cbm. The cargo was loaded in the belly hold of the plane as well as on the passenger seats and the overhead compartments which allowed them to gain cost optimization.

Their 10th shipment and 11th shipment were transported from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh, to Los Angeles. Their 10th shipment which was sent out in a chartered plane of Philippines Airlines had a volume of 180 CBM and weighed around 40 tons. Their 11th shipment of PPEs which was also moved in a Philippines Airlines charter flight weighed around 50 tons and had a volume of 250 CBM.

To this end, they coordinated with four airlines, chartered eight flights and completed a record-breaking workload within two weeks – from 5th to 18th May 2020

This consignment which was a large order from the Government of New York reached its destination within just two weeks. The tact and competence of the Super Cargo team are what allowed them to complete this record-breaking workload in the middle of these difficult circumstances imposed by the pandemic. Mr. Nguyen further states, “This is the first time that 8 large aircraft (Boeing 777-300 ER and Boeing 777- 360 ER) from 4 international airlines simultaneously landed at Tan Son Nhat airport to transport medical equipment from Ho Chi Minh to the US. Globalia Ho Chi Minh handles a project cargo of steel billets from Vietnam to Philippines

The shipment which consisted of 7,995 pieces had a volume of 5,421.510 MTS

Super Cargo Service, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, successfully sends out a bulk consignment of steel billets from Lotus Port, Vietnam, to Batangas, Philippines. Globalia Ho Chi Minh moved this 5,421.510 MTS cargo via a Dong BA sea vessel. The freight was loaded with the help of prime mover trucks and shore-cranes.

Ms. Lily Lieu, the Agency Supervisor of Super Cargo Service points out that, “Our team had to work extra-time to load nearly 8,000 pieces of steel billets within just 2 days and the SCS team executed the job quickly and impeccably! Moreover, working in the times of COVID-19 was a serious challenge yet we ensured that the vessel reaches the consignee by 2nd April 2020.” The Super Cargo team was responsible for all aspects of the delivery including stevedoring and chartering while they also acted as the shipping agent. “I would request our partners to check out this video we’ve put together to get an idea about the nature and scope of this project.” adds Ms. Lieu.

Globalia Ho Chi Minh is playing their part in the ongoing logistics preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2022!

They were in full charge of shipping 1,045 tons of structural steel for building the FIFA World Cup Stadium in Qatar

Super Cargo Service VN, Globalia member in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, has successfully shipped a big project shipment of structural steel required for building the FIFA World Cup 2022 Stadium from Vietnam to Qatar. The 12,991 CBM shipment which weighed 1,045 tons were transported in 161 packages from Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam to Hamad, Qatar. According to Ms. Lily Lieu, the Agency Supervisor of Super Cargo Service, “We are delighted to be associated with such an important project! The entire world is looking forward to this grand event which comes just once every four years and we are glad to do our part in the building of the World Cup Stadium! Actually, we have recorded a video that shows the important work of Super Cargo Services and we invite all Globalia members to have a look.”

The Super Cargo team was responsible for a number of services including chartering and stevedoring and thanks to their coordinated efforts the entire shipment was sent out on 23rd March 2020, a time marked by intense confusion because of the COVID-19 pandemic. “The disruption of logistical services and the cancellation of so many flights in our country were indeed pressing issues but our dedicated and proficient team has ensured that nothing comes in the way of getting this important cargo to its destination!” adds Ms. Lieu.
