Globalia once again creates a web app for its upcoming Annual Meeting in Bali

This smartphone compatible web application will allow the delegates to effectively navigate through the agenda of Globalia’s 5th Annual Meeting in April 2024

On the occassion of its 5th Annual Meeting in 2024, Globalia Logistics Network has once again created a web application that would allow the agents to have all information about the meeting at their fingertips. Globalia’s 5th Annual Meeting is a much anticipated freight forwarders conference that will take place from 17th to 19th April 2024 at the Intercontinental Bali Resort in Bali, Indonesia.

“The efficacy of this app became quite apparent after we launched it for the first time in 2023 for Globalia’s 4th Annual Meeting.  This is why we have we have created an upgraded version of this smart phone compatible web app to make the event simple and hassle-free for all our delegates,” explains Antonio Torres, the President and Founder of Globalia Logistics Network.

Upon arriving at the meeting venue, members can access this web application on their mobile phones and log in by providing their email and password. The web app is designed to empower Globalia members with comprehensive information related to the day-to-day agenda of the Annual Meeting.

Maria Serrano, the PR and Event Coordinator of Globalia Logistics Network explains that this portal will help to consolidate all the important information in a comprehensive web app. Moreover, the delegates can effortlessly access all meeting-related details with just a few taps on their phones, streamlining the information retrieval process.

Not only does it offer easy navigation through essential details of the event, such as the delegate list featuring names, affiliated cities, and represented companies, but it also provides access to the program, activities, travel tips to Bali, and more, ensuring that all pertinent information is readily available at their fingertips.

PTN Events organized this virtual conference that brought together digital innovators to engage in insightful discussions to foster sustainable digital transformation in logistics

Andrea Martin, Globalia Logistics Network’s FreightViewer Coordinator participated as a speaker in the Digital Logistics Conference 2023 that took place from 11th to 12th October 2023. She delivered a presentation on “Challenges and Opportunities for Freight Forwarders in Logistics 4.0.”

The Digital Logistics Conference served as a forum for pioneers in next-generation technologies to come together and participate in discussions focused on sustainable digitization in transportation and logistics. With an intense 2-day agenda, the aim of the conference was to expand in-depth discussions to increase efficiency, and enhance safety in the logistics industry by an innovative digital strategy.

The FreightViewer team selected this topic with the intention of underscoring the significance of adopting distinct strategies to effectively navigate the transformations ushered in by Industry 4.0. During her presentation, Andrea Martin emphasized the paramount importance of crafting a digital strategy within the freight forwarding sector to navigate the technological shifts within the industry. Additionally, Andrea Martin addressed three key aspects- the concept of Industry 4.0 in the context of the logistics industry, opportunities and challenges presented by Logistics 4.0 and the emergence of digital freight forwarders.

Globalia media partner Breakbulk Europe 2023 smashes event records

The event has been a spectacular success after a record 10,445 industry professionals from across the supply chain came together for the three-day event at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands

Breakbulk Europe 2023 took place at Rotterdam Ahoy in the Netherlands from June 6th to 8th, 2023, attracting an impressive number of industry professionals. The record-breaking event – that established a media partnership with Globalia Logistics Network – saw a total of 10,445 attendees, marking a notable 15% increase compared to the previous year. Representatives from over 126 countries participated in the three-day exhibition. While attendees from Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany dominated the event, countries like Turkey, Brazil, UAE, and Singapore witnessed remarkable growth in their participation.

The two gargantuan exhibition halls at Ahoy hosted 534 exhibitors from across the breakbulk supply chain. The Breakbulk Global Shipper Network, a worldwide network of shippers involved in the engineering, manufacturing and production of industrial projects and cargo, also posted record high numbers, with 444 of its members in attendance – double the number that came to last year’s event.

Moreover, DHL Global Forwarding hosted a series of thought-provoking and engaging panel sessions, where speakers debated hot topics from nuclear power and offshore wind to air cargo and the role of ports in supply chain efficiency.
