British International Freight Association (BIFA) is the leading body representing the forum for the pursuit of excellence and quality in the transportation and logistics sector in the UK
Killick Martin & Co, Globalia member in Bristol, UK, has won the BIFA European Logistics Award 2021. BIFA gives out the European Logistics Award to companies using road, short-sea or rail to provide transportation services to/from Europe. They selected Killick Martin as the winner of this award because of their continued service and client compliance with the new post-Brexit procedures.
In the words of Paul Gallagher, the Managing Director of Killick Martin, “We are delighted to have competed with the industry leaders and garnered one of the most prestigious awards in our sector. Moreover, Brexit has been a huge challenge for the entire logistics industry. Therefore, to win this award in such a year is doubly pleasing. I want to also recognize the great work done by our team of dedicated staff. During the first quarter of 2021 they were working 24/7 throughout and covering most weekends.”
BIFA is the leading body representing the international freight forwarding industry in the UK. They constitute the forum for the pursuit of excellence and quality in the transportation and logistics sector in the UK. Additionally, they are also the entry point for government regulation and fair practices in international trading. Every year they give out highly respected and recognized awards in 8 categories for freight companies in the UK.
Although the history of Globalia Bristol goes back over 160 years, the current organization is relatively young. “Winning this prestigious award underlines the quality of our team and our ability to fulfill customer promises. In addition to our people, systems and support infrastructure, this award will certainly position us as one of the top players in our sector,” adds Mr. Gallagher.
Congratulations to Killick Martin and all the best for their future endeavours!
