ACT Shipping, Globalia member in Nouakchott, Mauritania, moves a shipment for the construction of a military hospital for COVID-19 patients. The shipment of 189 units was transported in 24 TEU containers. According to Khalil Chouaib, Country Manager of ACT Shipping, “This hospital is a donation from the UAE government. We moved this sea freight shipment from Jebel Ali port, UAE, to Nouakchott port, Mauritania.”

They moved the breakbulk cargo in an MV BBC Scandinavia vessel.  “ACT Shipping personnel feels very proud about this achievement on behalf of the Ministry of Health. We are happy to have played a part in fostering good relations between the Mauritania and UAE governments, especially during these difficult times of the pandemic,” adds Mr. Chouaib.
