OMEGAir CARGO, Globalia member in Warsaw, Poland, took part in the TransLogistica Poland 2023 that was held in November in Warsaw. It is the largest business event in Central and Eastern Europe for companies related to the transport, forwarding and logistics industry.

Their Logistics Centre in Dong Nai, Ho Chi Minh, sprawling over an area of 20,000 square metres presently boasts a loading capacity of 90%

The logistics centre, equipped with 10 loading docks, features a clear height of 15.5 meters, a platform height of 0.85 meters, and a floor loading capacity of 6 tons. Situated centrally, it is located within 30 kilometers of both the port and the airport.

“With 15 years of experience in maritime transportation, we have been catering to the diverse needs of our clients from transportation to warehousing and distribution. The establishment of our new warehouse has been a significant step forward for our company enabling us to deliver even more extensive services to our domestic and international clientele,” says Kate Tran from Super Cargo Services.

The general warehouse facility comprises an area of 7,000 square metres. Additionally, it comes with a 4,000 square metres bonded warehouse, and a specialized chemical warehouse spanning 2,600 square metres. With a fleet that includes five 2-ton capacity trucks, 21 container trucks, and 28 trailers, they are fully prepared to meet the distribution and warehousing needs of their customers.

PTN Events organized this virtual conference that brought together digital innovators to engage in insightful discussions to foster sustainable digital transformation in logistics

Andrea Martin, Globalia Logistics Network’s FreightViewer Coordinator participated as a speaker in the Digital Logistics Conference 2023 that took place from 11th to 12th October 2023. She delivered a presentation on “Challenges and Opportunities for Freight Forwarders in Logistics 4.0.”

The Digital Logistics Conference served as a forum for pioneers in next-generation technologies to come together and participate in discussions focused on sustainable digitization in transportation and logistics. With an intense 2-day agenda, the aim of the conference was to expand in-depth discussions to increase efficiency, and enhance safety in the logistics industry by an innovative digital strategy.

The FreightViewer team selected this topic with the intention of underscoring the significance of adopting distinct strategies to effectively navigate the transformations ushered in by Industry 4.0. During her presentation, Andrea Martin emphasized the paramount importance of crafting a digital strategy within the freight forwarding sector to navigate the technological shifts within the industry. Additionally, Andrea Martin addressed three key aspects- the concept of Industry 4.0 in the context of the logistics industry, opportunities and challenges presented by Logistics 4.0 and the emergence of digital freight forwarders.

Andrea Martin expressed, “We are consistently eager to participate in conferences that highlight digital innovations in the industry. These events not only keep our members and us well-informed about the latest developments in the logistics sector but also position our member-exclusive transport management software, FreightViewer, in a new digitized era where establishing a digital strategy is no longer optional but imperative for freight forwarders. Before ending her presentation Martin explained the importance of having a Transport Management Software for freight forwarders. The division and separate development of their import and customs departments is permitting them to better organize their way of working with customers

The creation of two special departments will “allow our clients to better define the different services and therefore know whom to contact,” says Ahelm Rahmaoui from GFS Logistics.” These new services will allow for a better connection with our customers and an ease of exchange which is essential because they are essential parts of the values of our company.”

Mr Rahmaoui further states, “We decided to invest in these new services to allow the company to grow and optimize its chances of finding new partners and customers. This would allow our organization to expand its horizons. These services are essential because they improve the quality of exchange, allow us to distinguish ourselves from other companies, and also optimize costs.”

Their operations department manages the import and export of goods. The operators plan and organize the transport and delivery operations of imported and exported products while ensuring that deadlines and customer requirements are met. The customs department then takes care of every customs-related aspect of the project.
