Globalia Meeting

One to One meetings are the foundations on which members build cooperative relationships. No email or phone call can compare to meeting someone in person. In just 20 minutes, the time taken for 1 one-to-one meeting, more is learnt than in 20 emails or minutes on the phone.

As competition increases in the market, so does the importance of personal relationships as it becomes the main driving force in closing deals locally, nationally and internationally.

Preparation for One to One meetings

To make the most of each meeting, delegates should bring the following:

1. Business cards (minimum 100)
2. Company brochures (20-25)
3. Information regarding the services you offer and where you operate (perhaps in an electronic presentation)
4. Statistics about your company. E.g. Number of shipments from/to

Annual Meeting

In addition to the above, each delegate should do his/her homework about the agent he/she is having the meeting with.

Why are you having the meeting?
What do you want to know about them?
What do you think they will want to know about you?

Following the above steps will ensure that each meeting is profitable for both parties.
